Anna is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she majored in Science, Technology, and International Affairs and minored in Mathematics. She is interested in using quantitative methods and mathematical modeling to better understand environmental systems, from pollution transport to climate dynamics, and to support evidence-based environmental policy.
She is currently a research assistant in the Atmos Jones Lab under Assistant Professor Taylor Jones, working on a satellite feasibility study for detecting halogenated gases in the atmosphere and identifying point sources using remote sensing methods. In this role, Anna works to understand how remote sensing can be used to monitor harmful emissions and improve global monitoring efforts.
