My current activities cover two areas. First, I am a professor in the Department of Biology, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. I teach Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, and Biology of Global Health. Second, I am Vice-Dean of Earth Commons Institute, working on efforts to grow the institute into a school, with a focus on opportunities for undergraduates, especially at Georgetown's new Capitol Campus.
